Between you and me

By Scott Billings

Image shows a detail of Scott Billing’s artwork.

Scott Billings, between you and me; the gap that parts us today, will have zero thickness tomorrow, between you and me;

Billings’ large vinyl installation is based on data visualization and predictive graphs. It reflects on the ebbs, flows and waves of the pandemic, and its social impacts. Stability follows tragedy, quietude follows anxiety. With this work Billings invites the viewer to take a step back so that we may all move forward as one, so the chaos may appear less chaotic.

This artwork was commissioned by the City of Vancouver Public Art Program for Platforms: We are Here Live.
