Excavation on the south side of Broadway Station. A total of 23,400 cubic meters of material was excavated from the site.
Temporary bridges were designed to support existing Telus communication ducts, gas, and storm and sanitary sewer lines across the excavation.
The base slab, constructed with rebar, as the platform area of the station is prepared for the first concrete pour. In total 667 tonnes of rebar was required to build the station.
Exterior shored box with waterproofing. Casted into the base slabs, the starter bars for roof slabs have been completed. The columns are under construction.
