Sea Island Centre

Situated on Grant McConachie Way next to the Sea Island Centre, Sea Island Centre Station is a prime destination for airport employees, mechanics, and those looking to ship or broker cargo.

Scaffoldings and concrete forms prepare for Sea Island Centre Station to take its shape.

An escalator is delived and installed by two overhead cranes.

Workers prepare the South passenger access support as well as the mid-span support in the median of Grant McConachie Way.

With the concrete structure of Sea Island Centre Station substantially completed, preparations are made for the structural steel to be installed.

This structural steel frame will support the roof of the station as well as glazing glass panels, keeping a common theme between all stations on the Sea Island and the Vancouver International Airport terminal buildings.
